Lachlan with his school mates
Mr Frawley handing out the camp guidelines
Lachlan came home from his school camp very tired and sunburnt! Although, he had such an adventurous time and challenged himself with some of the activities. He told me one of the activities was to 'make a leap of faith' and jump off a small plank as high as our house, while attached to a safety harness. The cord stops you half way down until you slowly drop back down to the earth.
I think Lachlan going on school camps really helps to build his self-esteem and social skills. It's not everyday you get the chance to 'make a leap of faith.' Well done Lachlan!

Hi! I dont think I have seen you blog before!
ReplyDeleteI loved school camps and the challenging activities they always asked us to do. Taking some of those 'Leaps of Faith' were my best memories of my teenage years. Nice to hear your son has experienced that too :)
This is the first time I have seen your blog too!
ReplyDeleteLovely to hear that your son gained some confidence and boosted his self esteem while on camp.
Excellent blog& presentation. Keep writing more and more. I voted for your blog and suggested your blog to my friends also.

Thanks for the lovely comments! I started back at uni this semester and I am also working, so I post as much as I can... It's also hard to find new things to post about with a 'teenager.'
